Shaniyat supports the Green New Deal, which is a comprehensive resolution to reimagine our energy infrastructure, and eliminate systemic poverty and oppression. Shan supports legislation introduced by Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Merkley, recognizing the responsibility of the federal government to create a Green New Deal (H.R. 109).
